Few elected positions have as much of an impact on our day-to-day work as the State Board of Education. We have endorsed Katie Hofmann for Board of Education, District 4. She is an OFT member and an educator. She'll help reorient the Board toward ensuring that Ohio’s students have safe and equitable learning environments.

About OFT’s political endorsements
- OFT endorsements must be passed by a majority vote of OFT’s Executive Council, which is composed of member leaders from every OFT local union.
- Your dues money is not used to support OFT endorsed candidates. Political funds come from separate, voluntary donations to a union COPE (Committee on Political Education) Fund. If you are interested in contributing to a COPE fund, contact your local leadership or reply to this email.
- This is not a final list of endorsements. We are still receiving and evaluating candidate questionnaires for some positions.
