The OFT Membership Retreat is open to all members to learn how to engage more deeply in your union. Workshops will help members develop and expand skills to make your union more effective. OFT's Executive Council will conduct some business during the retreat.
Four workshops will be offered 7-9 p.m. Feb. 24:
- Ohio's ESSA Plan - Where do we stand?
- Human Trafficking
- Local Constitutional Updates
- Legislative Engagement
At the same time workshops are held for members, all local presidents are invited to a 7-9 p.m.session with President Melissa Cropper to discuss strategies to mobilize and engage members.
A reception will follow the workshops and local presidents session.
Hotel - To receive the group rate of $129 single/$139 double, room reservations MUST be made no later than February 3.
